My All-time Favorite Seasoning Blends for Meal Prep

Simplify your meal prep and make it delicious with these seasoning blends!

I hear it all the time from my clients: meal prepping is something they DREAD. I get it. It's hard to find the time and motivation some weeks! For that reason, I am all about simplifying the process, and making delicious food that I know I will enjoy later, Meal prepping keeps me in line with my goals nutrition goals, and makes nutritious food easily accessible throughout the busy week!

This week, I am sharing a few of my absolute favorite seasoning blends that I use for meal prep. The great thing about seasoning blends is that you can purchase a variety, sprinkle them on your veggies, protein, and/or starches, and cook/bake! I always keep these 6 seasoning blends in my cabinet for an easy meal prep process. Check them out!

  1. Mrs. Dash Original (Salt-Free!)

You've likely heard of this one before. But don't sleep on this brand! Mrs. Dash offers 20 different blends and marinades that are salt-free, and good with just about everything. I personally love the original Mrs. Dash blend, and I use it on chicken, fish, potatoes, and veggies. Just sprinkle on and bake!

I am really loving their Fiesta Lime for chicken and their Lemon Pepper for roasted asparagus.

2. Tastefully Simple Cha Cha! Chile Lime Seasoning

This Tastefully Simple blend is PERFECT for shrimp. It is my go-to seasoning to add to a marinade or to sprinkle on and bake with. I have been using it on meat, potatoes, corn-on-the-cob, and even eggs! Delish.

I am excited to try this with fish tacos in the near future! Check out their recipe here.

3. Stonemill Coffee Dry Rub

Calling all coffee lovers! This is a delicious blend with a sweet and smokey flavor and hints of coffee. It is great with beef, pork, and chicken. Check it out for something a little different!

Here is a similar blend from Lane's on Amazon.

4. Pampered Chef Garlic & Herb Rub

I love this blend from the PC! This one has hints of rosemary with garlic and basil. I use it with grilled chicken, salads, burgers, and potatoes. It can also be used to make dip!

Next time you're looking to spice up your meal prep potatoes, try this!

5. Trader Joe's Cheesy Seasoning Blend

Good ol' TJ's. I have many favorites from here, but this one takes the cake. This cheesy blend is made from a powdered Cheddar cheese base, and lots of yummy spices are added to it. You can sprinkle this on your entrees, snacks, and use it in sauces!

I use this with pasta, salads, burgers, eggs, chicken and pork. Check it out!

6. Tastefully Simple Dried Tomato and Garlic Pesto

My favorite to use with chicken! Just add olive oil & water, and have a quick pesto for your chicken and/or pasta in less than 10 minutes. You can also use this for bread and bruschetta.
